I compiled and originally posted the excerpt posted by Mike T. As TRAIn neglected its responsibility to publish the archaic manuals that were donated to them by Westinghouse Air Brake and the AAR brake committee, for several years they were on the RPCA Educational Foundation website. With the demise of that group I have been handing it out piecemeal as folks have asked for it in my role with the FRA. Presently the American Public Transit Association is reviewing and updating the passenger car standard M005 and they have made a commitment that they will publish the compiled archaic standards on their website in a public forum when the update is completed. Stay tuned, and I will make an announcement here when that happens.

Pittsburgh Air Brake leases a true K valve SCTD and can build one for you if you need it.

I second that. Thanks Steve, (I'll also do what I can)
