OK, then, why not allow the presenters to opt in or out as they see fit rather than us continuing to judge the content of programs not yet known for legal issues which haven't been shown to exist?

I can't get some logistical issues solved to allow me to attend this year - the first in a long time close to where I live and at a location I have a lot of historic involvement with - and I'd be very happy to gain some valuable knowledge from the presentations if it could be made available.

I'd still rather go to the meeting for the networking opportunities you don't get other than F2F - which have done me a lot of good in the past. If you attend and walk away with nothing of value it's because you screwed up your chances to network and benefit, not only in business terms but in personal terms as well. I miss dealing in person with very smart and practical people in the business I don't get to catch up with otherwise.

I don't think any sponsoring organization uses these meetings as an income producing event - a lot of trouble and hopefully break even is more like it. You want to make money, you need some event you can market to people other than the rest of us in this marginal industry.
