There is a board devoted to Indiana railroads that is quite active but it is more of a picture-taking railfan board than it is about preservation.

The Indiana Railroads Bull Session Forum? That's a fantastic forum, but I'd never describe it as a "picture taking railfan" site. The News and General sections are terrific and topical and the Historical section is full of fascinating threads. Lots of working railroaders there too. But yeah, its not really a preservation board.

That's it. After I wrote that I dug around there and found some more information about the Baldwin in a thread. A lot of good stuff there, even about IL which is where I am from originally. But those guys seem to bristle when anyone brings up what happened at ITM and what the disposition of equipment is currently. I can understand not wanting to beat a dead horse, but there are groups with real interest in the equipment there and being more open to talking about it COULD result in more of it being saved. I have actually been pm'd here on RyPN about some of the ITM equipment and I sent them links to the IRR board, which is where I heard about it in the first place.
