This is a collection of Ohio Falls Car Company and AC&F photos, I don't see your specific car but some that might be similar (it won't let me copy and paste). I note that the six-axle coaches have trucks with an unusual design that looks like includes some sort of yaw damper, there is a NC&StL coach that looks similar to yours with six axles. Ohio Falls also made shorter four-axle coaches as well in your time period:

Also some photos here:

I don't see any yaw dampers. That's a modern invention as far as car trucks go. The older six wheel trucks are a pretty standard side bearing design. I assume you're probably referring to the arches outside the side frames - they are the side bearings, nothing more.

A couple of other interesting things in those photos - Fox pressed trucks on the LVRR milk cars (I doubt they lasted long)??? And the very poor quality of the cast steel frame on the newer six wheel truck looks like their pattern maker or the foundry was having a very bad day (hope they didn't use that pic for advertising).

Did you see the photo of the wheel hub? I'm amazed they let someone leave the factory with that photo... alive!

Thanks for posting the photo, here are a couple more, never found platform hardware before so thats a nice surprise.
This shows the power of FB as the car appeared on FB Market place being sold for art wood. i looked t it and realized its importance, owners were sympathetic which ended in free car, free trucking and some other donated pieces. Thanks to the Go Fund Me contributors.

Great news all round, off loading in Cheyenne tomorrow, followed soon by DT&FW 1887 boxcar all loaded and ready to move in Bordeaux WY.

That's funny, the Como group just picked up an original C&S/ later RGS wood boxcar that had been bought for art wood, but the artist then replaced most of the siding with new. But it's better to get to it first.

uncovered more windows and shades today, hard to refuse a donation with this kind of interior still mostly intact.

Any idea how part of the car came to be missing? It's odd that whomever saved what you have now didn't just save the whole car.

It was cut in half by the CNW it seems and placed as two buildings in Orin Junction WY. Car folio sheet says destroyed in 1927. One half was found in a farmers orchard and moved to another location where i found it, other half could still be out there somewhere.
