Mcugh Bros. had a similar problem when obtaining Caterpillar parts for their General Electric 44 Ton locomotive. Giles & Ransome, the local dealer, wouldn't sell locomotive parts. We had to tell them that they were for a power plant.

At CRRM our 1955 GE 50 ton center cab has DD 671s. Ours is one of the 5 that came from Algoma steel, then the EBT then the D&S. Bo idea when the 671s were installed.

D&SNG #1 the hot shot has Cummins, and is a twin to our #4.
