"Before" and "After" views on our most recent Lyons project, back in 2015. Just about the only "original fabric" remaining were the motors, all castings, and the wheels. Everything else was recreated either based on an incomplete set of original DIFCO drawings or reverse-engineered. IIRC the whole project (two trucks) was about $90K, not including the traction motor rehab work, which was a separate deal with another vendor. Sorry, but I don't have a breakout price on the wheel & axle work, but it was doubtless only a small fraction of the total.
