The joke is that if any other railroad were to buy it, the first thing anyone Would say when it arrived was "LET'S SEND IT TO STRASBURG!!!!"

On a similar note - does anyone know ex-NS steel pass. car "The Dunn Wagon" has been at Strasburg since this summer?

Is it there for storage or contracted through the shop for restoration?

Keeping anything indoors would be optimal but indoor storage is a premium and we are using all of that currently. While I am not a boiler engineer my understanding is that the boiler was in great need of extensive work when George found it leaking back in the late 1980's. Truth is this would be a very expensive in house project...

It is a privately owned car here potentially for contract work. Exactly what we cannot say at this time.
