Yep. You betcha. Darn right. With your argument, nobody should charge admission for anything because it’s unfair to those who can’t afford it. Do you expect to be let into NFL games or movies for free because you fell on hard times or simply don’t think it’s FAIR to have to pay what everyone else pays? Should there be a “hard on your luck” night at the fancy restaurant in town?
Hey, the bottom line is this: why should anyone pay if it's unfair to those who can't afford it?
Nobody would disagree that a person with connections to the event shouldn’t likely have to pay (although I have paid for PLENTY of events I was a volunteer for the group putting said event on), but those people should be green-lighted ahead of time by those putting the event on.

Hats off to both crews for a such a spectacular event and to Peter Lerro for the fantastic photos as well. Gotta love the Berks, I know I do. There are differences though that are hard NOT to notice. The 1225 is an N-1 class built in 1941 and the 765 is an S-2 Class built in 1944.
In the pictures when they are doubleheading, 1225 looks just a wee bit larger than 765. I realize that is the difference in the classes, but what about the classes exactly makes them so different?
I would only guess that their water and coal payloads are the same as well as driver sizes, cylinder dimensions and other little do dads and so on.

What separates an N-1 from an S-2?
