The wind chill factor up near the Wisconsin border was 27 degrees below zero yesterday and yet there's the East Troy operation and not to mention IRM, grand scale steam at the Milwaukee zoo, and not but not least, the North Freedom operation. While I think it's laudable to seek preservation expertise \ knowledge to fill the position, the editorial and writing skill would seem a rare mix but perhaps already established authors who specialize in rail history also armed with a degree in journalism would be more of a viable candidate. So, the posting here seems to be more of a reflection of the editors well known penchant for historic rail, which does not seem to equate with Moxie or BBQ. Maybe being an expert on cheese or bratwurst could get a foot in the door.
