"A museum with enough track to let the big locomotives stretch their legs."

Sounds like RBMN. Incidentaly, Reading Company made a profit with the Iron Horse Rambles.

BTW, does anyone know why Kelly Anderson deleted the content of all of his posts? I know he received a troll response earlier this year, but it seems like overkill to take the time to go back and edit each one, he had more than 2500. Anyway, it is a loss to the board that he isn't posting anymore.

A mullet in this day and age? Is it a cultural thing in Eastern Europe?

Anyhow, I also miss Kelly's always practical and proven information. Overmod has also been missing lately. I'd trade about 90 percent of the posts I see here for getting those 2 people back.

Looks more like a short Mohawk to me, which is somewhat common among soldiers on the front line, for example. I interact with a lot of Ukrainian refugees here in Portland and Ukrainian men tend toward the short buzzcut typical of Europe, even here, where 1970s hairstyles predominate.

Hmmm. Speaking as one of the other "90 percent" who posts here on occasion, I wonder if I should take umbrage at that remark?

Of course not, Les. Your reputation is above reproach. ME, on the other hand...

I'm with Dave that it's a shame for these two knowledgeable folks have evidently had enough BS, but personally I wonder where on the web they would be less trolled.

Appreciatin the innovative solutions these Ukrainian rail workers are pullin off- kinda reminds ya of the determination and tenacity of the B&O employees during the Civil War. Despite all the chaos and attempts to disrupt railway operations, the work kept on movin.

As for adaption of the 614 to their gauge, it's quite the engineering job and might not be as simple as it seems. It's a nice thought though, Ross!

P.S. gotta say, the ongoing job to erase remnants of the past in Ukraine feels a little short sighted to me. People can't just delete history but then again, it's not just black and white I suppose.

Agreed, it's a shame! But, if your light-handed moderators can't remove child trolls such as Crescent-Zephyr, what's the point of wishing either of them back? I'm sure Kelly is happy posting on other forums where moderators don't put up with that trash.

Is there a chance that Kelly is busy? Maybe "not able to come to the phone right now"? Just a thought. Regards, John.

I'm afraid the amount of his own content he's removed on here says that this is more than just a simple "not able to come to the phone right now."

The worst part of it is that doing so does little to hurt the few people who have caused any problem, but does much to hurt himself and the hundreds (dare I say thousands?) of us who have done no wrong. He and his valuable insights will be missed

Kelly posts regularly on another forum, but I'm not to say which one, so you figure it out.....
