Please, we all know that 3985 is of great intrest. At the moment it is not the time to talk of the work. When it is finished and everyone is happy I will be glad to answer questions about my small involvement here. Just please give us all the space to finish the work first.
There are many people involved with the locomotive and the rest of the work not just me and they to need the privicy to finish the good job they are doing.

Nigel

[quote="John E. Rimmasch"].

The 3985 is nearing completion. The work performed by Wasatch Railroad Contractors is finished, however the other UP oriented work is not yet done. I can tell you that when the 3985 makes its first test run we will keep everybody posted as to how well the new technology is working. "

John,

Trainorders reported today that 3985 has made a second outing after the firebox and exhaust improvements were completed. Can you give us a status report?

Nigel,

UP 3985 was out on trial again last week.

Are you in a position now to tell us what work was done, why and what the results are?

Thanks and regards

Trevor Heath

I think John Rimmasch promised an update after the first run as well.

John, can you or someone from WRC provide any info?

I am also interested when 3985 will run prior to leaving for the convention.
