Off Topic (Marine Preservation)--Last Call For Big U?

As much as I support preservation of maritime history, I think the legacy of the Big U might be best served as an artificial reef. In that way the ship could be re-discovered by divers for future generations. Otherwise SSUS missed its big chance back when Knut Klusser wanted the ship for the role eventually filled by SS FRANCE.

Susan Gibbs and the Conservancy are to be applauded for their tireless efforts in the meantime.
