No its not, that is what you were TOLD is natural immunity. I can prove to you that the root cause is still there, you just aren't reacting (your body is not able to mount a skin response) to it anymore.

You are getting manipulated into believing that the effect is the cause.

No easy answers here. Very glad I'm not the COO of any public transportation entity. If I were I'd no doubt opt for the CYA course and maintain a mandatory mask mandate so that I was protected ( a little at least) from being sued by a person who claimed they got infected on my property because everyone was maskless. Ambulance chaser lawyers wet dream.

Here's some facts that speak volumes to the big picture:

According to the CDC, here are the odds:

You are 16 times more likely to die from Covid unvaccinated vs. having gotten 2 shots.

You are 42 times more likely to die from Covid unvaccinated vs. 2 shots plus booster,

Approx. 96% of the 550 people dieing from Covid daily are unvaccinated.

Your chances of contracting Covid indoors from others are 36 times greater unmasked
vs. wearing an N95 mask, and 19 times greater vs. wearing a cloth mask.

Based upon the above odds I'm grateful to be boosted and I will keep wearing my
N95 mask indoors in public places.

If you chose to be unvaccinated and maskless enjoy your remaining time here.

Thanks, Ross Rowland

Interesting. What study’s were preformed by the CDC to come up with these statistics? They may be “officially published” but I would like to see the studies and the peer reviews. This covid bs has become way too political. The vaccine is still in trials. You can go online to figure the data on that out. Clinicaltrials.gov that’s where to look, and all the facts and results should be posted there. Spend some time looking, you’ll find some neat things out.

You seem to be very opinionated Ross, do you think you can govern African Americans better as well? Oh wait. You’ve already admitted that one too. Are you so special because you’re vaccinated and boosted? Should I bow down to you as well? Maybe I should shine your shoes since you’re so much better, master.

I’ll live my life, you live yours. That’s what’s so great about living in this country.

There are numerous studies published by various medical organizations and many universities, any peer-reviewed study will have data available, of which basically all of these do. A quick google can find plenty of studies by Johns Hopkins, Emory, etc all with data available. Basically every modern government in the world, all agree vaccinations are absolutely key to putting this pandemic behind us.

I Have numerous friends and family in healthcare, like Ross says, the people that are now dying from it are either 1) heavily immune compromised, 2) unvaccinated.

You can maybe argue how effective the little blue paper masks are, but kn95/n95 do help, and no one in modern nonpartisan medicine - throughout literally the world is arguing against the effectiveness of vaccines.

You are absolutely welcome to reject any and all publications that do not agree with your tribal beliefs.

That said, there's no way I'm going to contribute to your survivor's Go Fund Me to cover your medical bills and funeral expanses.

ps. Yea I know Covid-19 and it's variants only has a ~ one percent kill rater.

Funny that a Gubermint organization that has been funded with billions of dollars for decades can only come up with

1) Everyone that has been "vaccinated" is protected from reinfection,

BUT

2) Everyone that has not been "vaccinated" has to wear a mask to protect the protected from the unprotected....

I do not believe ANYTHING from the CDC...

Any Gubermint organization that has to redefine what a vaccine is after attempting to force everyone to take it has rightfully lost all trust...

Hope you all that took an experimental "Not A Vaccine" to "protect" yourself from an overblown variant of the Flu do not suffer future ill health effects from a rushed approval of an experimental "not a vaccine"...

Look up the "Swine Flu" vaccination program under President Gerry Ford;

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/ford-swi ... 20b1532511

Smells a whole lot like the last two years of "two weeks to flatten the curve"....

And, not to go too far into the details, but some viruses (like Polio and Measles) mutate very slowly if at all. So those of us that had Measles as a youngster do in fact have "Natural Immunity" and have a very very very small risk of contracting it again. I have never ever had a Health Professional recommend that I take a Measles Vaccine (developed and approved in the 1980/90's) since it is assumed that I was exposed and recovered from Measles in the 1960's (a fact).

Other viruses like the FLU mutate very quickly.... That's why the "flu vaccines" do not work very well, they are always cooked up based on a guess what mutation is coming next. If the actual mutation that shows up does not match the "guess" the vaccine does noting. Basically a crap shoot, like the "Covid Vaccine" that is not really a vaccine. The gubermint calls it a vaccine to make it look like they are doing anything useful at all with the billions of our tax dollars they waste every year....

This is a fun topic, stop calling folks that disagree with you stupid please...

And therein lies the problem.
People only want to accept that which they already want to be so. It's the opposite of the scientific method.
Folks declare they're doing 'research' when in fact they're just looking for stuff online to support what they want to be so.

I do not use the word stupid casually. Anyone, repeat anyone who sees the evidence that 96% of the 15,000 people who have died from Covid over the last 2 weeks were unvaccinated and still chooses to remain unvaccinated is beyond stupid and I'd have to search hard for the proper adjective to describe them.

Perhaps stone stupid, box of rocks or idiots would be appropriate but maybe not strong enough??

Oh well as comedian Jay Leno said last night if Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingrahm keep up their nightly anti-vaccine ranting eventually they'll kill off their remaining audience. Lot of truth to that.

Sad but VERY true. Ross Rowland

With all do respect Ross, I have no respect at all for your alleged "wisdom" regarding who is in fact "stupid" regardless if you use the word casually or not.

You have been duped by the gubermint, the fact that you fell for the Covid Hoax tells the rest of us all we need to know about your ability to ascertain "stupid" people.

You might want to read up on the CDC's latest missives where they have actually mentioned that "Died WITH Covid" is in fact NOT the same thing as "Died FROM Covid".... And they changed their "tally" after the fact.... Kinda like slipping a Ace from your sleeve into the Poker hand you are holding.

And you might want to read up on how the CDC now mentions that "Natural Immunity" is slowing the spread of Covid.

You may call everyone you wish "stupid", but Me and My Family made it through "Covid" just fine without any "help" from the Gubermint..... While you have been scared to death... Stupid is as stupid does, keep wearing the mask and be AFRAID, be VERY AFRAID because the gubermint says so....

Explain this: I’ve been unvaccinated (mainly due to studies my fiancé has conducted and peer reviews on) during this pandemic I have been exposed in various ways:

24+hour work trip with a fellow coworker who was also unvaccinated. We found out said coworker was exposed by hour 6, but we had to keep going to deadhead parts to their destination, dropped parts off and returned. I did not wear a mask. Not did he. By the time we found out he was exposed it would have been too late for either of us. He got sick.

I was exposed to family members during the first initial shock of the virus. Everyone in said household got sick. Some were vaccinated, others weren’t. Severity was equal throughout.

I was exposed by friends after a holiday visit. More than 3 people in the group were sick after.

I went to several weddings, concerts, took several flights, been in crowded areas with limited air movement. Not once have I gotten sick. Due to protocols different places I have been tested multiple times. Never once a positive. Even after tending to loved ones who were pretty well sick. I’m not the only one either who has been unvaccinated and exposed but not infected. I’ve seen plenty other unvaccinated folks get less severe sickness as opposed to those who were vaccinated.

So after all of that. Yes. I will remain unvaccinated. It’s not that important to me. And I will enjoy my remaining time here. Because life is too short to sweat the small things. Im young, I’m healthy, I’m going to live my life the way I want to. And I don’t want to live in fear. I want to experience the bigger things in life. I want to travel unrestricted. I want to have true fun. So I will do me.

If you wanna be scared and hiding, you do that. Y2K was probably pretty hard for you as well. I sympathize, I have young family members who are afraid of the boogie man, kind of the same thing.

I’ve also noticed Ross, you’re the first to always complain or add negative comments. Why won’t you add to good conversation? I’ll call you out because I believe you solely are responsible for this forum being such a drama pit. Contribute to preservation for once.

I’ll step off my soapbox now. Thanks to all, and to all a good night.

Well folks,

I think its obvious that people are not going to agree on this issue. It is really too bad that people cannot agree to respect the personal choices of others.

For those who keep begging the moderators to lock these types of threads, I found that when I read these threads, listening to music can really help to calm the nerves... I might suggest beginning with this song, but I'm sure other songs may work equally as well for you. ... Enjoy!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYJMtn6IJeE

In the meantime, I will not call anyone names for exercising their personal choice to govern their own actions as they see fit. I will respectfully pushback on those who feel the need to govern the actions of others.

Once upon a time, this nation used to be a self-governing country; A land where people took responsibility for their own actions. People once embraced a common set of principals, rooted in Judeo-Christian values, which guided our public discourse for centuries. Sadly, too many people now believe it is the government's role to dictate to the people (through the manifestations, personal ambitions, and momentary whims of a handful of people) how best to live their lives.

Sad, but true ...

Incase anyone is interested, there are still places all around this country where you can go to be spiritually uplifted, to join in fellowship with likeminded people, to learn how to be nice to people, AND .... guess what also happens there? ... You can choose to either wear a mask, or put your trust in a higher authority, and no one is going to care one way or the other and you are not going to be called names for your choices.

Here is an awesome video that describes these places, complete with a hidden message in the middle of the video appropriate for this thread, for those people who are interesting in learning more.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmZbIel_sk8

I, for one, would rather put my trust and faith in a higher authority, rather than a government run by men with personal ambitions that may, or may not, align with my beliefs.

Can I get an Amen?
