I would note that, amazingly, it APPEARS these locos are being carefully dismantled, not wantonly scrapped--which implies that they're either being "parted out" or being prepared for a comprehensive rebuild.

I believe these are the units owned by the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society.

Some parts have already gone to other organizations/museums with projects in need. Long-term plans for the bodies and more mechanically complete units TBD. We just don't have the space at our current facility for storage.

Wheeling and Lake Erie wood Office Car #03 apparently has finally arrived at the Colebrookdale Railroad this past November 30: https://www.facebook.com/CharlesJAdamsI ... peu8baZF8l

"I first encountered this rather unusual load pulled off of eastbound Route 422 in the morning. Couldn't take a close enough look at it as I passed it.
Lo and behold, later in the day, returning from a destination on the eastern end of the county, I had a hunch where what I saw earlier might have been bound.
And, bingo! I detoured a bit to and beyond the yards of the Colebrookdale Railroad - The Secret Valley Line in Boyertown and found it, still shrouded in mystery!
Obviously, it's another railcar that will be restored and placed into service someday on that most magnificent line!" Charlie Adams, two photos.

In one of the comments: "Wheeling and Lake Erie car 03, the Huron, donated by the City of Noblesville, Indiana, by way of the Indiana Transportation Museum, to the Colebrookdale Railroad. We accepted the car to save it from scrapping."

"Kentucky Steam Heritage Corp.

"This past weekend, our train set featured a beautifully restored Chesapeake & Ohio caboose and was pulled by locomotive No. 1100, a former Louisville & Nashville EMD SW1500 diesel-electric. Both pieces were generously donated by our Class I partner, CSX, and each represents a proud predecessor of the modern railroad. Though the L&N and C&O once met at a massive coal mine in Deane, Kentucky, their lines never physically connected until the formation of CSX in 1980. Deane marks the end of two legendary coal-hauling lines—the EK Subdivision (L&N) and the E&BV Subdivision (C&O)—which helped power the growth of eastern Kentucky.

The open-air baggage car, a 1913 Altoona-built car, served the Pennsylvania Railroad's prestigious passenger trains well for many decades, ultimately becoming part of the Indiana Transportation Museum's (ITM) collection. After ITM's eviction from Noblesville in 2018, Kentucky Steam acquired the historic car for use in excursion service. Contrary to popular belief, the Pennsylvania Railroad did operate within the Commonwealth of Kentucky, owning a short connecting line in Louisville to Union Station, where its passenger trains terminated. This car likely visited Louisville several times in its career."
