As a new twist to the earlier posts of late last week reference RAILS TO RAILS I have been asked by the CEO of the SUNFLOWER LAND TRUST in Wichita to find him a reliable estimate or put him in touch with someone who could give him a reliable estimate of the cost to lay 11 miles of light rail for street cars on the rails to rails right of way that was the subject of the previous posts. Can anyone give me some help?? Thank you in advance. WOOLY wooly421@charter.net |

If you estimate $100 per track foot including light wire on wooden poles you won't be far off unless substantial grading or bridgework is required. dave irondave@bellsouth.net |
