"Middletown & Hummelstown's ex-CN (2-6-0, Kingston, Ont.) #91 will be fired up today (Friday 6/25/04) after passing a successful hydro test in the Middletown, PA shops on Thursday. #91 ran the remainder of the Fall 2003 season after coming off of a heavy rebuild since last operating in 1988; since that time several thousands of volunteer hours have been logged in rebuilding, maintenance, and operation of the 1910 built locomotive.

#91 will be used to power passenger excursions between Middletown and Hummelstown (Indian Echo Caverns station) on Saturday, June 26th, departing Middletown at 11:30 AM, 1:10 PM, and 2:50 PM. After Saturday, the engine will power most of the M&HÂ’s weekend excursions in July, August, September, and October.
