Probably the most interesting American locomotive down in Australia is a Baldwin 4-6-0 running at Dreamworld (a Disneyland copycat park in Coomera, Queensland. It was originally a 4-6-0T used in World War I, it is 2' gauge. It was rebuilt for the amusement park as a tender engine, backdated to look like Disneyland Railroad's #4 "Ernest S. Marsh". The photo below of it is by Mark Gough, former engineer for the Dreamworld Railway.

I seem also to recall that a couple of ex-New Haven high wheeled 4-6-0s also went down under, but were finally cut up in the 1960s.
