In today's Flimsies, some of you may have noticed the articles pertaining to modern railroading. While at first I was not going to post them due to their modern content, I decided to post them, as they deal with things that any operating railroad has to deal with, accidents, blocked crossings, etc...

First, thank you to all of you who responded to my previous post, your inputs are greatly appreciated.
Based on all your responses, I'm going to keep posting selected articles on modern railroading that deal with issues concerning railroad operations, or issues that could affect future preservation and/or operations.
