I could be mistaken but I thought that M&NJ was recently sold to the only freight customer on the railroad. As for the Narragansett Pier 2-6-0, I don't know but it sure would look nice up here in New England since it's a Rhode Island Works Alco. Could someone tell me who it was built for? I know that it operated on Narragansett Pier and the Bath and Hammondsport but who was it built for? I thought it was built for Narragansett Pier but I'm not 100% sure. |

Hi all are you sure it was a R I. works? I last saw #11 10 or 20 years ago and I think it was a cooke as is the 97. R.I. quite by 1910 and the 11 was build about 1923. bb |
