Dear RYPN'ers;

I know this has been discussed before, but, where does one get headlight bulbs? 32v, 250w (if I remember correctly), standard screw base.

I tried searching the archives, but, no luck. I seem to remember a url for a bulb company?

Thanks;

Try Buchanan Lighting on Loretta Ave. They might be able to order them for you. 728-3551 Neil

At SVRy we have purchased headlight bulbs direct from Amsco. They work great! Since the last time I ordered, I have heard that they had made Bernie Watts with Backshop Enterprises the exclusive outlet for the head light bulbs due to the relatively low sales #'s. I have not confirmed this by calling Amsco, or Bernie.

John,

I don't know if they have them, but I have been lucky with less then common lamp bulbs, with Bulbman (www.bulbman.com)

Take care,

Rich

I saw a message on another list that Backshop Enterprises was having them made by GE.

At one time Bernie was looking to have bulbs made in China. I don't know if he did or if he offers headlight bulbs. Aamsco does handle bulbs and I listed the contact info and prices. I do not know who makes their bulbs however like everything else they are probably from China.

John,

I see someone else has already posted the URL for Aamco. In the future, if you need to find a supplier for steam locomotive related parts or services, please check my page at the URL below. There is an index to the suppliers at the bottom of the page.
