Hello, I have a contact for an antique water tank spout if anyone is interested. The owner is an older gentlemen parting out his junk and claims this to be an original. It is made of either brass or copper and he plans to sell it for scrap (worth $100 maybe?) if a new owner is not found soon. I have not seen it personally, but my friend claims that it is fairly long. I would hate to see it destroyed if it is indeed railroad related. If anyone is interested, please contact me off line and I will get you in touch with this individual. The spout is located in Montpelier, Virginia so transportation would have to be arranged.
