The flats were indeed left on the yard track at Cumbres. I believe that the true need for the doubleheader was to move some coaches back to Antonito. Yesterday we had a couple of tour groups that rode from Antonito. The railroad figured that as long as the coaches have to go back, might as well sell the seats. Since they would need the helper anyways, why not take the flats up and eliminate the need to stop at Lobato? awalker1829@yahoo.com |
