Wanted to give an update from the front on progress on LS&I#33.
I've now been here (Morgan Run Steam Shop) for two days and can report the following.
There is a team of approx. 35 men working in 2 shifts(6am-12midnight) and all the vital parts are back from the outside contractors and have been successfully fitted up.
As of today work is progressing simutaneously on the following;
1.Fitting and welding in place the 2 thermic syphons.
2.Installing the last 50 tubes,rolling and welding.
3.Installing the cab in place.
4.Fitting and installing the spring rigging.
5.Installing the air/water delivery plumbing.

There is MUCH left to do!! I believe we have an excellent shot at completing the engine and having her under steam and at Trainfestival.

I will post pictures of where we stand on this site on Monday nite!

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers!
