Several months ago I promised to inform readers of this board when my comprehensive Wawa & Concordville RR history was going to appear in print. That time has now arrived! The Autumn 2004 issue of The High Line, published by the Philadelphia Chapter PRRT&HS, has come from the printers and will be distributed to the society membership shortly. I would anticipate that the issue will be available in retail stores and hobby shops within the next month or so. The article runs about 25 pages, has a detailed all-time equipment roster, some color photography (including a color cover) and the definitive story of this short-lived tourist carrier. Copies may also be available for sale through the chapter's website store soon. |

Oh, c'mon..... Under White's Law, that history should rate a paperback edition, a hardback edition, and a special signed and numbered leatherbound edition, complete with art print insert of the Howard Fogg cover art....... <:-) LNER4472-NOSPAM-@bcpl.net |

Kurt you could do a book siging at Borders, Barnes & Noble and then maybe a talk show or two! Hey if Kramer can do a coffee table book about coffee tables..... Seriously Kurt, I can't wait to read it. Congrats on getting it finished and in print! -Alan Levy AlanL759@aol.com |
