Surface Transportation Board Chairman Roger Nober today announced that the
open voting conference originally scheduled to be held on Tuesday, July 27,
2004, at the STB's headquarters, has been postponed. The voting conference
will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., prior to the
agency's scheduled public hearing in the "small carrier abandonments"
proceeding, Class Exemption for Expedited Abandonment Procedure for Class
II and Class III Railroads, STB Ex Parte No. 647.
