Being taken over by an educational institution. Were these the Pegram (sp?) Shops? Any links to old/recent photos? http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=109&STORY=/www/story/07-22-2004/0002215717&EDATE= ryarger@rypn.org |

This roundhouse is located at the site of the former pullman coach yard. It is not part of pegram. jasonsobczynski@yahoo.com |

> While it might be a question of semantics, this is actually the site of the North Ave Coach Yard. Pullman had their own shop east of downtown which had a transfer table. The roundhouse has been used as a warehouse since the end of steam. Some reports are that it has been modified quite a bit over the past fifty years. The turntable was evidently taken out about the same time as steam ended. Tim Andrews Chattanooga, TN tandrews@researchcouncil.net |
