Engine was built in 1929 for the Neils Lumber Co. as their No. 6. The engine was sold to Rayonier in 1949, becoming their No. 2. Rayonier shop forces removed feedwater heater because of maintenance issues. Ed ff1044@aol.com |

The 3-foot gauge Swayne Lumber operation out of Oroville, California, applied the Worthington BL feedwater heaters to a couple of their 3-truck shays in hte late 1920s and appearently started, but did not complete, the installation on a third.
