Hey everyone, While this may have been done already (and my apologies if it has...Erik please delete if necessary), who here's gonna be at TrainFest, and when. I'd be honored to meet some of RYPN's readers/experts. So anyway, I'll be around Friday, maybe Saturday too, and I'll probably be sporting my Pitt "Oakland Zoo" t-shirt, if I'm not fortunate enough to be volunteering this time out. Look for the posts by Jim Wrinn, screenname jimwrinn. He's coordinating the on-site festivities. He can be found in Dennison at the sign of the Frisco coonskin with RYPN on it where the 1522 should be... eledbetter@rypn.org |

Rick Eyler and I will be there sometime Friday. Hoping to get a couple shots of the E's coming in. We'd also like to take part in the "clatch" (whatever THAT means). Will be wearing a hat representing the NFC Champions. Hey Jim - did I tell you the Panthers were in the Super Bowl? LOL |

I'll be there Saturday for sure (have tickets for the three hour Morgan Run Shop Tour) and Sunday will probably be spent chasing. I'll likely have on my Southern Pacific T-shirt, so will my wife and 2 kids. You can then ask me why I use a screen name. |

I had to decide whether to attend that blockbuster show at Dennison or work as I was supposed to for Otakon, the largest Japanese anime convention in North America. Otakon is expected to pull in 22,000 this weekend and is horribly short on staff, and I have a big personal event in September to pay for, so the Ohio Central unfortunately lost out......... This time......... This was almost as bad as deciding between working the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in D.C. or the NRHS Convention in my hometown last summer. (The SFF won.) Here's hoping that this becomes an annual gathering and event for the OC and RyPN--and that I don't have this devilish a choice to make every year! LNER4472-NOSPAM-@bcpl.net |

I'll be in West Park on the 30th photographing the Es on their way to Dennison. I'm going to wear a yellow Reebok steam train shirt and North Shore Railroad cap.
