Does anyone have a catalog that states the rated capacities in gallons per hour for Ohio lifting injectors? I'm specificallt after the capacity of the #7 size. SRC Mechanical Dept. kelly@strasburgrailroad.com |

About the same as they would deliver in Pennsylvania, Kelly. Not knowing the style but knowing Ohio cloned other types I do have some literature for, I would venture about 2000 GPH wouldn't be far off at 180 PSI. Maybe somebody out there has an Ohio Brass spec sheet? dave irondave@bellsouth.net |

The ALCO standard practice book(page 55)refers to the capacity of a #7 Ohio injector as 1800 gpm at 200 psi. For each reduction of 10 psi in boiler pressure, reduce the capacity by 2%. This is real close to what Dave said. johns332@bellsouth.net |
