Post subject:  Whatever became of the Whippany Toonerville RR?

Another curiosity from the pages of defunct tourist railroading history...whatever became of the Whippany Toonerville RR in New Jersey? I know they had trackage rights on the old Morristown & Erie, and used ex-FEC Pacific No. 148 during the 1970's. Who ran the operation? What other equipment did they own? What brought about their demise? Any information would be appreciated!<br>
