Post subject:  Ecclesbourne Valley Railway

Most people are happy with a small layout in their attic or basement. Not these people. I visited the operation while in England two weeks ago. This is railroad restoration at it's absolute finest, performed by a commonly directed group of positive people. Check it out.

Sounds like the Titfield Thunderbolt story all over again. I liked the quote "it wasn't all chuffer nutters either".

Not sure where Neil got that phrase from - we at the railway project will not let him forget it! Incidentally, I am the idiot in the picture standing in water!
