Here is some additional info on the make-up of this train from "informed sources." Three Amtrak locos, former Califonia Zephyr sleeper "Silver Quail," three amfleet long distance coaches, seven green Rail Cruise America cars including two domes, and the three tail end heavyweights. These were the CN "Metis," MKT office car #403 (the one used by Truman), and Georgia office car #300. Can anyone provide numbers and more details? rdgoldfede@aol.com |
