Report from the NKP 190 discussion group, concerning Doyle McCormack's Alco PA project:

The last several months have found Doyle busy with frequent trips to Canada to help run the Canadian Pacific's steam engine, and his time in Portland has been occupied with the Daylight repaint project. Consequently, progress with the 190 has slowed somewhat. Volunteers have finished most of the wiring for the lighting in the nose, including all relevant conduit work. Additionally, the interior of the nose has been painted, and painting continues elsewhere inside the carbody. The compressor and equipment rack have been reseated on bolsters in order to vertically align them with critical parts on the prime mover. When he has found the time, Doyle has been working with the side panels and the cab door frames, where some work remains in aligning the mounting holes on both. I will post more news and images as I receive them.
