As a rail fan, I've lucked out and have a job helping raise money for the restoration of an IL Central Depot. While I have lots of capital project planning and campaign experience, this is my first rail oriented project. Since it's not the only such project in the country, could anyone point me towards particularly successful projects, restoration resources, possible donors etc etc. Turning a personal interest into a real job is exciting but I've got a lot to learn! Thanks. dzemel@holmesradford.com |

Check out what the folks in Amboy IL did with the old IC buildings. They got a lot of community support and some significant grant funding. Bob Kutella 68trolley@comcast.net |
