RyPN is please to welcome our newest staff member--Dave Lathrop of Lathrop & Associates. Dave is a familiar name and face to many of you, a longtime professional railroad restoration contractor and a frequent RyPN contributor. Dave is joining our staff as Books Editor, and will be working to expand our book review coverage in the Briefs. He'll also be pitching in to help edit Briefs and Articles. Thanks Erik. It will not escape many that the notice was made on Friday the 13th while Mercury is retrograde. Hopefully that won't betide too ill for RyPN. In any case please do recommend books for reviews, ideas for articles (hopefully including offers to write them) or whatever you think would be good for publishing on this list. Erik and Hume are pouring a lot of themselves into keeping this site alive and relevant. They deserve all the assistance we can offer them. Dave, Congratulations! This is a great place and it can always use more great people to help it remain a great place.
