One question! Is there a way to have a reply automatically insert the thread subject? |

Sure--just use the "Quote" button instead of the Reply button to respond to a post. The subject line will automatically populate (see the subject of this post--that was written automatically for me when I hit quote) and you can keep as much or as little of the original text you are commenting on when you reply. |

| Post subject: | Slow Loading of thread |
Erik, This thread took forever to load on my dial up connection. Is this going to be a problem? I'd hate to see RYPN turn out to be even slower than the infamous "Goat!" |

I don't see why it should--any thread has almost only a handful of tiny button images in it, and those should go into your cache once you load them the first time. Other than that it's just text. Let us know if all the threads are slow for you after you've tried it for a while (discounting for posts like my Lynchburg Kanawah post that include images).[/code] |
