Hi friends,

I spent Sunday at the Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern in Kempton, PA with my son. As usual, it was a great way to revel in the joys of branchline steam railroading.

Most noticable - because it is huge and yellow - is C&O refrigerator car #5504. She is absolutley resplendent and will make a nice addition to the line's photo frieghts.





The wonderful new shop building will be getting tracks inside very soon. In the picture below, the tracks will veer off to the right. Eagle-eyed viewers will note the spare Porter water jacket on the ground -- once part of Strastburg's "Thomas" and now a spare part for Kempton's #65.
