| Post subject: | Miramar (San Diego Sub) Wye and MCAS lead |
Can anyone save me a drive and tell me the status of the subject track? I know during my last visit to the Air Station that most of the track on base has been removed or paved over, but does the wye and any of the lead west towards the base still exist? Does any of it still enter the base? Does anyone know who owns the lead if it exists? Thanks, Greg |

sure. The wye exists - and continues to serve a tank car farm about 1 mile up, a loading dock near the gate of the station and ends at the gate. It also serves alot of industrical tracks in the Miramar area. Owned by BNSF. Jim |
