I have seen photos taken of Q4 421 several months after the Cleveland RR Club Holloway excursion in May '58 - the last steam operation on the B&O. Apparently, it was used as a steam supply for the W. 3rd St. roundhouse in Cleveland, and every so often came out of the house and ran down to the ash pit/coaling tower for servicing and refueling. So, the 421 was - apparently - in fact the last operating steam on the B&O. |

Was that the same roundhouse that GTW 4070 is stored in today? |
