Extensive website for this active motorcar owners group, which assists with maintenance on the Middletown & New Jersey in NY State and also the Black River & Western in New Jersey. Check out their news page. They get a lot done.

Thanks Bob,

Our group tries very hard to help out. We have a good core group of individuals that enjoy running the motorcars and helping other groups in the NJ metro area. We typically have three motorcars stored on the M&NJ and one other that floats around being stored at member's homes.

We have a L&NE Shefield 40B, A former Conrail Fairmont A-5 (outfitted for brush cutting), a former UP Fairmont MT-19 and a CP Woodings CBL.

Over the past several months we have been cutting brush and trees for the BR&W from Ringoes to Lambertville. We have about a block of heavy trees to cut in Lambertville which we hope to finish before the end of September. Our equipment will be moved back to the M&NJ for the fall to cut brush there and then stored for the winter.

We are an affliate to NAROCA and will hold a two day excursion over the NYS&W Southern Division on October 16 and 17.

Chris, VRA Acting President
