Post subject:  The Countess of Sufferin'

Canadian Pacific's first locomotive, at one of its several display sites in Winnipeg. Is it still outdoors, or finally under cover? At one point they had flowers planted on its running boards.

At the present time, this famous locomotive is undercover on Track 1, of Winnipeg's former Union Station (still used by Via Rail Canada) and is in loving care by the Mid-Western Rail Association, as part of their railway display. The museum is now open week-ends.
