Post subject:  Uintah field trip

Field trip over part of the long abandoned Uintah Railway, the narrow gauge line in far western Colorado, which hauled an oil bearing material called gilsonite, abandoned in 1939. The line had Colorado's only narrow gauge articulated locomotives, two 2-6-6-2Ts, which later went to the Sumpter Valley in Oregon and to Guatemala after that.
