Old and mostly wood boxcar body. Possibly ex-CB&Q.

Heavyweight ex-CB&Q Pullman, apparently part of the Kepner collection

Bob, I don't claim to be an expert on them, but the wooden boxcar appears to be one of the US Army boxcars built for export to Europe during WWII. Note the round roof, and lack of roof ladders, etc. Since this is a gov't auction, and a bunch of them ended up at various military bases, I think this is a strong possibility. Back in the 1970's, the Alleghany Central tourist RR in Covington, Va. had several of them from FT. Eustis that were converted to open air cars

That is the same boxcar I posted about about a month or so back on the final days of its bidding. Apparently there weren't enough bidders for it and is still for sale!

Cool. Note the nine foot width, just the ticket for the CHS to turn into their first new passenger car for the Georgetown Loop :(

The government auction also includes several tank cars (most appear to be on friction bearing trucks) located in Portsmouth VA, and one flat car with a light duty crane (on friction bearing trucks) in IN.

I don't know much about tank cars. Since they are all USN (Navy) property, I'm taking a wild guess they were used for transporting fuel oil.
