Just when I made friends with the new board, I click on this morning and notice the lack of a wonderfully useful item, the "postings since last visit" link. All i got is a 18 page list of just about everything posted for the past several weeks. What's up? BTW, the board didn't recognise me either automatically like it usualy does.

1. Board keeps changing

A majority seemed to prefer a return to a threaded view, so we have introduced that as the new default. Like the old, old interchange, in this threaded view you see all posts, and the colors indicate whether or not you have clicked on them. Becuase you see all posts at all times, posts since last visit isn't really relevant in this view.

2. Posts since last visit

If you did come to like the new flat format (I think I actually prefer it myself) you can click the flat view button at the top of the topics list or the top of a post, and it will switch to the flat view we've used for the past 10 weeks. In flat view, posts since last visit is available as a link just like before.

If you really like flat view, go into your profile, and set Topicview from Threded to Flat. It's near the end of the options list. This will make flat view your defualt whenever you return

3. Not logging in automatically

Try clearing cookies, then logging in again, making sure you check log in each time automatically when you do.
