Fully Operational 90 - ton 2-8-2 Mikado Steam Locomotive w/Tender for
sale

McCloud River Railroad #18 built in 1914 by Baldwin.

Oil Burning

Boiler Pressure 180, Tractive Effort 35,700 48" Drivers

FRA cert on 2/18/2001 ( good until 2016) Complete Form-4

New jacket/insulation, superheater tubes, water level meter on tender

Rebuilt dynamo, injectors, compressor, windows/doors

Have pictures and spec to email. Serious bidders only please

Can be viewed in operation on 10/10/04 and 10/17/04

Note: Both McCRRR 18 and 19 later went to the Yreka Western in the 1950s, and have moved back and forth at least once since then. They are stock model BLW engines, used by several shortline and logging companies in the West, with a few also going to Mexico.
