Conway Scenic Railroads Railfan Weekend will be VERY BUSY! Numerous trains are schedualed wth run-bys and extras.Big highlight on Sat. Oct 14th will be a train run the entire route of the CSRR to milepost 101 at Whitefield(quebec Jct.).<br> Hghlight of sunday Oct.15th will be the 7470 steam loco extra to Faybans Station.I believe this is the second time in nearly fifty years that steam has climbed the Mountain Division through Crawford Notch.The first time was last years railfan weekend.<br> Perhaps the next few years will bring the return of Maine Central 2-8-0 #501 through the notch under steam,and dare I suggest later.....the 470?<br> <br>
