Has anyone heard anything about the camelback at Strasburg. I think its #1187. What have they found? Is it going to run or is it going back acrossed the street? -Eric |

At the time of my visit on the friday leading into Labor Day weekend, the backshop tour leader (Wayne?) commented that the camelback was not a high priority item for the restoration crew and that there were a few that, as they had time, would work here and there--cataloging the status and work that will eventually need to be done. sc 'doc' lewis |

The camelback will come into the newly built asbestos shed the week of 10/18 to have the "nasties" removed. After that, as time permits, we will begin the evaluation. FYI, the steam crane will be following #1187 for asbestos removal only. |
