Has anyone heard anything about the camelback at Strasburg. I think its #1187. What have they found? Is it going to run or is it going back acrossed the street?

At the time of my visit on the friday leading into Labor Day weekend, the backshop tour leader (Wayne?) commented that the camelback was not a high priority item for the restoration crew and that there were a few that, as they had time, would work here and there--cataloging the status and work that will eventually need to be done.

The camelback will come into the newly built asbestos shed the week of 10/18 to have the "nasties" removed. After that, as time permits, we will begin the evaluation.
FYI, the steam crane will be following #1187 for asbestos removal only.
