Post subject:  Museum looking for a pair of old friction bearing trucks

Hi all,

A fledgling museum I am associated with is searching for a pair of friction bearing trucks to place under a boxcar that was donated to us. This is for a static display only.

Can anyone on the list point me to a likely dealer or museum willing to part with such an item?

Thanks,

Matt Bumgarner

If your museum is a member of the Association of Railway Museums, you can ask "Parts@railwaymuseums.org" and the request will be relayed to the member museums.

Suggest that you contact Scott Becker at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. We may have something that you could use. Call 724-228-9256.
