I was at Strasburg RR on 10/9/00 and behind the shop was a turntable on a set of 6,wheel trucks, I would like to know, where did it come from, and what plans does the Strasburg,have for the table. thank you, PAT.<br> cheif@mediaone.net |

when we talked with the shop people two weeks ago, they had aquired it with maybe 200 miles, and, were planning to install it on the property to allow them to turn coaches to even out wear.<br> bigjiml1955@yahoo.com |

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but there exists the possibility that sometime in the distant future you will have two roundhouses across the street from one another. One of RMPA's goal is to also have a roundhouse. Very sweet!<p>Mike<br> |

Was the TT moved by rail or truck to Strasburg? There are no couplers on the trucks it's sitting on. "DO NOT HUMP" was stenciled on the turntable, I don't know if that was for real or just in fun (since SRR has no hump yards)<br> |
