I was down at the Wilmington & Western yesterday for the second Steam meets Steam weekend, and both 98 and 58 put on a good show. The fun continues today at 12:30. Trips run every half hour until 3:00PM. Ride, watch or take pictures, but make sure you buy a ticket. |

Just curious, Al - is no. 98 still "undecorated out of the box," or did it get lettering? JAC |

The #98 still has no lettering on her. The shop crews this past week have been spending time getting things working, like most of the air operated equipment like the bell and butterfly doors for the fireman. Lettering will come later, or by the spring. There is still plenty of things for the paid and volunteer staff to do, like track work!! The engines are nice, but track is still needed to run on. DONATIONS WILL HELP TOO FOR THE REBUILD PROGRAM, TO HELP WILL THE MATCHING OF THE GRANTS. PLEASE KEEP UPDATED AT http://WWW.WWRR.COM[/url] |
